DO NOT mix and match Nolo SDK files. The version of the Nolo SDK files supplied with iVRy has been tested with both Nolo CV1 and Nolo CV1 Pro, and does not have any known issues. Nolo can address the cosmetic issue in the NoloServer output, however …
@LGM13 The driver isn't "beta", that's just the mechanism that Steam uses to provide alternative releases. If you are using the "new" NoloVR firmware, you should be using the correlating version of the SteamVR driver.
If you are using the latest Nolo firmware (install Nolo HOME to upgrade the firmware, uninstall or disable it afterwards - due to *VERY BAD* programming practices, Nolo HOME breaks the SteamVR driver model while it is running), you should select the…
@ansya The current version of iVRy doesn't support OTG NoloVR, only NoloVR connected to PC via USB. There is an OTG version in development, which is mostly complete. However, there is a lot of other functionality going into that version, so it will …
I've added the "ceiling mode" support back to the iVRy driver (will be available in the next release). It was removed when it was removed (again) from the NoloVR SDK. It is back (again) in the latest SDK.
This is a major inconvenience to anyone installing Nolo HOME and wanting to use other software that supports NoloVR. It contributes to the overall "user hostile" experience that leads many users to uninstall Nolo HOME once they've updated the firmwa…
Non-working haptics is a known problem with the latest firmware. It's
not related to the SteamVR version. This intermittent bug is both when
using Nolo HOME and when using the NoloVR SDK (Windows).
@sealchub iVRy supports the newer (1.10+) and older firmware versions. If you're using the newer firmware, use the "1.10+" version, which can be found in the "Betas" tab of the iVRy driver properties in Steam.
The NoloVR SDK has been updated to reenable that functionality. I'll release a driver with that once I've had a chance to integrate and test it (sometime in the next week).
@javenell Try iVRY, it has built-in support for NoloVR, and that support is
actively maintained to work around the bugs in the NoloVR
firmware/software.
@TheDeax The grey screen thing is a SteamVR feature when the HMD driver tells it that tracking is unavailable. You can turn it off by manually editing the steamvr.vrsettings file and adding the following to the "steamvr" section:
forceFadeOnBadTrac…
> 5. Display firmware version of connected NOLO device in battery life status.
Is there any way (or will there be any way) to get the firmware version via the PC SDK?
I have checked the latest release of Nolo HOME and can confirm that the
files LYROBOTIX/NOLO used and modified without permission are no longer
present.
@idanliu That is necessary in some cases when using the latest NoloVR firmware in conjunction with the latest PC SDK and the workarounds suggested by the source code included in that SDK. I believe @cyberkevin was referring to an issue wit…
@admin I have checked the latest release of Nolo HOME and can confirm that the files your company used and modified without permission are no longer present.
I am not slandering your company, I am requesting the source code of open source derived …
@admin Do not forget that you have a legal (and moral) obligation to provide
the source code of all open source derived software in use by your
company, on request. I have formally requested that source code. Your
choices are to provide the so…

@darkwhale This is the firmware bug. You'll need to downgrade the firmware for all products to the HOME 1.09 version. Pimax could (mostly) fix this issue by using the latest PC SDK and doing the workaround shown in the Huwaei driver source code ship…
@stoneeeeee I don't respond well to having to constantly waste many hours of my time to work around their bugs, or having portions of my software stolen.
@TheDeaX There is, but the UI is in Chinese, so NoloVR (understandably) is not promoting its use, as it can potentially cause more issues if you do something wrong.
@TheDeaX Yes, you need to send that sequence to the hardware to put it into DFU mode. It is pure insanity thinking that I would allow an untrustworthy company to gain remote access to my development computer.
@TheDeaX It's been clear for some time now that LYROBOTIX is trying to clear out all the 3rd parties that are creating
solutions for their hardware. In most cases it's probably a good idea,
as non 100% working solutions reflect badly o…
@yishihara Don't hold your breath waiting for NoloVR to acknowledge or fix bugs. They have no idea how to behave like professional developers. In the (almost) 2 years I've been supporting their hardware they have not once released a properly working…
I am formally requesting the source code of all Open Source derived software that LYROBOTIX (aka. NoloVR) is using, as per the license requirements of using that software.
